We loved this park. Campground hosts were helpful and friendly. They actually cared whether we were satisfied or not. Bathrooms and showers were clean. There was no road noise. Setting was beautiful. Wi-Fi was excellent. The only issue we had was a small one. It was that where our site was was rather crammed. We were too close to our neighbors. But there were trees and brushes between us so there was plenty of privacy. We would be glad to stay here again.
As mentioned, this is right in the heart of Moab and near Arches National Park. The road noise is considerable, however in the evening it quieted down. We turned on our air conditioner for the white noise. The wireless internet didn't reach all areas of the campground and it was an issue for us. There is no grass on the campground. Gravel and trees is all that will greet you. However it is not loose gravel and the sites were level. We would stay here again.
We stayed in this campground while going through on the way home and it more then suited our needs. We checked in rather late in the evening. The sites are level and solid. We had electricity and water. The Wi-Fi was slow but functional. Located next to the interstate, there was some road noise but we had no problem sleeping. The staff was helpful and kind. We would stay here again.
This campground is getting excellent reviews and deservedly so. It's less then a mile from the west side of the Rocky Mountain National Park and we had a cow and calf moose about 5-10 yards from our trailer: have the pics to show for it! They stayed in the campground for literally hours. They are very harmless and docile, providing you don't invade their space. The Wi-Fi is only available at the "rec room" but it is available. The restrooms and showers were immaculate. With all this plus good staff and private, roomy sites, have made this a great campground. It is expensive though.
We stayed here on our way to Utah and having read the other reviews, weren't expecting much. As such we were pleasantly surprised. Obviously it has been picked up of trees and debris. We arrived after dark and registered and paid on the honor system. The bathrooms and showers were clean and comfortable. The pool was clean. The sites were rather soft and sandy but certainly serviceable. I had no problem with Wi-Fi. The biggest problem is this campground is fairly close to Interstate 76 so the road noise is considerable. We only stayed for the one night so it served our purposes well.
We stayed here during the July 4th weekend for two years in a row now. Several members of our family from SD, MN, and WI showed up so its a good compromise place. Also quite a few of us are bicyclists and this campground is connected to a 5 star trail. Other then that its not really that great. The A row is the best with limited shaded areas. As mentioned, rules are rarely enforced after the quiet hours. Cooperative staff though and we did have a nice time. Just nothing special if you aren't a golfer. WiFi didn't work for my computer.
